Algrano and IKAWA are inviting you to a guided LIVE virtual cupping experience celebrating Brazil in line with the end of this year’s harvest. You will cup unique lots from Brazil including some competition-winning coffees. The producers will join the cupping as well to tell you more about the magic behind their coffees.
Algrano is a digital platform that enables direct relationships between coffee growers and roasters and offers service support along the way. Through the Algrano online platform, coffee growers promote and sell their coffees straight to roasters in Europe without worrying about the logistics.
How it works:
This event is open to Roasteries (and staff) based in Europe and UK.
You will need access to an IKAWA Sample Roaster to take part.
Signups will close on 19th October, a confirmation email will be sent to you, and Algrano will send samples to participants starting 20th October.
Participants will receive four samples and Algrano’s IKAWA profiles. The samples will be labelled with codes so we can all cup blind.
You will need to roast your coffees and prepare the cuppings ahead of the LIVE cupping via Zoom which will take place on 29th October - 3pm GMT/4pm CET.
