Practical QC Roasting with IKAWA
Olam Speciality Coffee Europe have been using IKAWA Sample Roasters for over 5 years now, and roast over 3,000 coffees each year. Over this time, they have refined their QC processes and want to share useful insights from this with you.
Highlights of this session include rationalising the roast profiles to a select few that fit most purposes, roasting for consistent assessment and adding simplicity, not complexity.

They'll demonstrate this with a range of coffees from familiar and lesser known origins, with some fun challenges & mini competitions on the way.
How it works:
This event is open to Roasteries (and staff) based in Europe and UK.
You will need access to an IKAWA Sample Roaster to take part.
Signups will close on 2 November 2020, a confirmation email will be sent to you, and Olam Speciality Coffee will send samples to participants week starting 2 November 2020.
You will need to roast your coffees and prepare the cuppings ahead of the LIVE event via Zoom which will take place on 26 November 2020 - 3pm GMT/4pm CET.
